What is SakuraPay?

SakuraPay bridges your mobile money paybills — M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa, Airtel Money, HaloPesa, and CRDB — into a single real-time dashboard. See every payment as it lands, across all networks, in one place.

Is my data secure?

Yes. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS). Financial data at rest is encrypted using AES-256. Dashboard access is protected by OAuth 2.0 authentication.

How do I get started?

Create an account on the SakuraPay dashboard, download the companion app on your Android device, and scan the QR code to pair. Your transactions will start flowing into the dashboard within seconds.

How do I add another paybill?

Install the SakuraPay companion app on the device with that paybill number, then pair it to your dashboard using a new QR code from Settings → Devices → Add Device.

Can I export my transaction data?

Yes. Go to Statement in your dashboard and use the Export button to download your transaction history in CSV format. You can filter by date range, network, and transaction type.

Why is there a delay in receiving transactions?

Transactions typically appear within 1–3 seconds. Delays may occur if the companion device has poor internet connectivity or if battery optimization has restricted the app. Ensure the app has unrestricted battery access.

Troubleshooting

Transactions not appearing

  1. Check that all required permissions are granted to the SakuraPay companion app.
  2. Ensure the app is excluded from battery optimization.
  3. Verify the device has an active internet connection.
  4. Check that the device is paired (the app should show a green “Connected” status).
  5. If the problem persists, re-pair the device using a new QR code.

QR code won’t scan

  1. Ensure camera permissions are granted to the app.
  2. Clean the camera lens and ensure adequate lighting.
  3. Make sure the QR code on the dashboard is fully visible.
  4. Try increasing screen brightness on the device displaying the QR code.
